We’ve been hard at it over the last month with festival appearances around the South West. So far we’ve done Wimborne, South Petherton and Teignmouth Folk Festivals and we’re up next at Glastonbury – Wellies and bags packed!
Next month we’ll be performing at our favourite local festival – Priddy Folk Festival in the Mendips as well as a local and rare summer appearance at our spiritual home – The Kingsdown Wine Vaults.
We will also be performing at St.George’s in Bristol on Wednesday 13th July with ‘3 Bucket Jones’, an experienced songwriting collective led by Gitika Partington and Andy McCrorie-Shand. Their songs are acoustic, folktronica, alternative-pop. This gig will be a family affair. Gitika is our bass Dave’s sister, and their mother Mani sings with 'The Barley Mow Choir' who are also performing. Players from the world-class Tredegar Town Band & some outstanding local singers including Ali Orbaum and Wendy Sergeant who are involved in the 'Sing for Water West' project will also be performing. All profits from this ‘TAKE THESE GHOSTS’ 2nd album tour will be going to Water Aid.
And if you just fancy an evening of booze and bluster do come on down to the Nova Scotia on Friday 15th July at 8pm for our Summer Singaround which is part of this year’s Bristol Harbour Festival!!
And at LAST! Our new album ‘All Killer No Filler’, will be available from Priddy Folk Festival onwards!!!!
