Trowmen Reflections on 2015… Well, what a year it has been! From our intimate singarounds in our hometown to the big stages at Shrewsbury and Priddy, we have thoroughly enjoyed each and every gig this year. Highlights have included the reception we got on Saturday morning at Shrewsbury, singing at Glastonbury Festival, the end of festival concert at Harwich Shanty Festival, everyone will have their own favourite. For me personally it was when we managed to get the whole pub singing the chorus of I'm a Rover at our spiritual home of the Kingsdown Wine Vaults here in Bristol. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I asked the crowd to give it a lash mid song, but boy did they respond! Beer glasses were swaying from side to side, the noise was deafening, and honestly the singing was absolutely bang on too! We are taking a short break over Christmas, but the new year heralds new projects. We will be recording our second album in January, as well as our usual Winter Singaround in Bristol. We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and we hope to see you on various stages in the new year. Cheers Bryn ‘Tenor Trow’ Stephens
