Rough Island Band : 10th Anniversary Tour
The Trowmen will be doing a short support slot for our friends the Rough Island Band, who have been making music inspired by the extraordinary and remote Isles of Scilly for 10 years now. Perhaps we might even join in with a couple......... :-)

Shrewsbury Folk Festival
This will be the third year in succession the Trowmen have been invited, so we will give it our usual huge dollop of gusto throughout the weekend.

Broadstairs Folk Week
Appearing at this prestigious folk festival for the first time, the Trowmen will perform on Sunday 13th August at 10:30a.m. at the Sailing Club.

Lynmouth Flood Memorial Regatta
With a return to the North Devon coast, the Trowmen are delighted to be invited to a charity regatta at this delightful hotel, right in the centre of Lynmouth next to the harbour, a perfect setting for our nautical output. The event is in aide of the Lynmouth Flood Memorial. We hope to be joined by both our North Devon fans....... only kidding!!! There's three of them :-)
Wimborne Minster Folk Festival
Ahoy shipmates! Songs Of The Sea is a new addition to the folk, family, fun weekend of Wimborne Minster Folk Festival, which will take place on the Saturday of the festival in June.
The new Shanty Festival will see performances from: The Roaring Trowmen, Jim Radford, Exmouth Shanty Men, Portsmouth Shanty Men, The Harry Browns, Shropshire Boatmen and Wareham Whalers.
Saturday Day Tickets that cover both the Shanty Festival and the Folk Festival are available now for £25 each, or full weekend tickets are £45. Priston Folk Festival
This lovely little festival, in a small village just South West of Bath, is the epitome of what a folk festival should be. Yet despite it's size there are some well know names there. Come join us on Sunday afternoon, on the stage and in the pub!
Shrewsbury Folk Festival
After our hard work last years as newbies (during which we had a LOT of fun too!) we appear to have impressed and have been invited back again in 2016. WHOOP!!
Our first appearance at this quirky, charming festival in Suffolk. Plenty of workshops, Ceilidhs, sideshows, cinema, local foods and ales and all round joie de vivre to keep you going for the whole weekend.

We return again to our beloved Vaults - we'll be raising the roof once more with our customary blend of sea shanties, nautical ballads, and cheesey jokes.
3 Bucket Jones - Sing for Water
3 Bucket Jones are an experienced songwriting collective led by Gitika Partington and Andy McCrorie-Shand. Their songs are acoustic, folktronica, alternative-pop. This gig will be a family affair. 'The Roaring Trowmen' includes Gitika’s brother Dave, and their mother Mani sings with 'The Barley Mow Choir'. Players from the world-class Tredegar Town Band & some outstanding local singers including Ali Orbaum and Wendy Sergeant who are involved in the 'Sing for Water West' project will also be performing. All profits from this ‘TAKE THESE GHOSTS’ 2nd album tour will be going to Water Aid.
