Hi Folks,
We decided sometime back to take the next couple of weeks off for holidays ahead of a jam-packed Autumn and Winter schedule so I’m here holding the tiller until the others return. Bryn’s lost somewhere on the continent, Dave’s lost somewhere cycling up a mountain and Gwyn’s lost under family somewhere. Which leaves me, Chris, your trusty scribe to keep the ship on course.
So I thought I’d share a moment of happiness with you all. Finally I have decided to give up full time employment! From September I’ll be working a 4 day week and devoting the 5th day to writing/ film-making and of course Trowmen business. After working 60-70 hour weeks over the last 2 years I decided something had to give. Clearly it couldn’t be the singing – that’d just be crazy – so it had to be work and jolly pleased I am with the decision…so far…
Of course, I have to find another job….but that’s just mere details…
Have a lovely time if you’re going on holiday but if you’re not write in and tell me your news.
The rest of the RT’ll be back in a couple of weeks with exciting news about the months ahead, starting with a visit to Shrewsbury Folk Festival, but now for that long earned rest -I think a bottle of Pinot Noir is on the cards tonight!
Cheers for now,
The RT!
